Bedroom Textures

For this assignment, I was inspired by a bedroom scene from the slasher film "Nightmare on Elm Street". I got rid of a few items and put in a few more, then just played around with various light settings and camera angles.

Here is our simple camera/verb animation assignment. I used a camera attached to a spline circle going faster and faster around the text 'Accelerate'. One thing I wish I knew how to do, was to have the camera continue looping along the circle once it had completed it's first lap. What I did in place of that was just resetting the position back to 0, then back to 100 for each segment.

Bouncing Ball vid take 2.
Ok, second go at the Self-Portrait assignment. Similar object, but this time I've used colors & materials, and lights. I attempted to try making some hair by adding a bush and changing its color, but that didn't work out so I just kept the same old top hat.

Day 01 Ex 02: Camera/Focal Angle

Introduction (round 2)

Hello, my name is Jesse Baldridge.

I was born in Santa Monica, but raised in Utah, and as you can see, I love to travel. I was involved in the performing arts for many years until I decided to switch and go into theatrical designing, which has led me to the path of the Lighting Designer. I have done lots of work in lighting and make-up design in and out of my undergrad program at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. And I'm now studying lighting design here, at Calarts.

What I'd like to get out of this course (Foundations of 3D Animation with Cinema 4D, especially after having already completed the course last year)? Although I did learn a lot from the course, I am not as proficient as I would like to be with the program. So I decided to retake the course and try to take each assignment to the next level for me.
